2018 AUDITION NOTICE

Dates for brass and percussion auditions:

Tuesday, October 16 at 7 p.m. –  Mary Pappert School of Music 3rd Floor, Room 306

Wednesday, October 17 at 6 p.m. – Carnegie Mellon University Alumni Concert Hall

String Auditions are strictly via video submission.


Excerpts:

 

  • For Violin and Viola musicians, you must record an audition video. Please register , you will receive an email on how to upload your video.
  • Brass and Percussion musicians must also register but do not need to provide a video.
  • Audition appointments will be assigned on a first come, first serve basis. Deadline for applying is October 12, 2018.
  • After the October 12 deadline, a small number of audition appointments may be available on a first come, first serve basis.
  • WSO 2018 Section Scale: $58/service plus 10 cents/mile and tolls
