Summer String Workshop

When: One full week near the end of each summer

Want an opportunity to improve your musicianship each summer? Then come work with faculty from Seton Hill University and the WSO’s Academy of Music while exploring exciting music for string orchestra and chamber ensembles.

String Ensemble

There is no audition is necessary for this group of middle school aged string players, as they learn playing techniques and musical styles in preparation for joining WYSO. This ensemble meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 7:45 pm at the Academy of Music. The Spring Semester will run from February 3 to April 21.

Private Lessons

Lessons are offered to all string students including violin, viola, and cello. Flute and voice lessons are also available. Call 724-837-1850 for a list of teachers and available times.
