Family Concert

After a long hiatus, the Westmoreland Symphony’s Family Concert will return on Sunday, April 2 at the Greater Latrobe High School Auditorium. The one-hour concert will be preceded by an Instrumental Petting Zoo, beginning at 1:00, provided by area music teachers.
Youngsters (and adults) will be able to get up close and put the various instruments in their hands, exploring the exciting world of musical instruments with guidance from the area’s top instrumental teachers. The theme of the concert is Made in America! and features some of the best-loved, home-grown American music, including works by Copland, Gould and Sousa.
